They have several categories: sources of raw materials, sources of medicinal substances, protection against the elements, etc. They provide inspiration for art and science, have a high touristic and recreational value, and their impact on the protection of mental and physical health is increasingly significant. However, it is important to recognise that these processes are only thematised in terms of human use.
