RICHARD ARADSKÝ

Richard Aradsky’s work was determined by the materials he found in nature. They had a significant influence not only on the initial concept, but also on the final shape of the objects. The author respected and incorporated the shape specifics of the source material into his work, expanding them. He drilled holes in the pieces of wood in the shape of a deer footprint, and placed twigs in these holes. His sculptures evoke the shape of plants and animals that could easily be found in the forests of Malý Žiný Ostrov. The photo documentation of the sculptures shows that these objects not only seek, but actually find their place in the surrounding natural environment.
