ARADSKÝ RICHARD: TRANSCRIPT 2.2

Richard Aradský in his work Transcript 2.2 continued his earlier project from 2022 (Transcription), in which he transcribed some sounds of nature into spatial objects. The author’s goal was to transcribe acoustic phenomena into a spatial object. The author mapped nature using an instrument that captures electromagnetic waves and then transcribes them into sound. Each environment and each detected plant has a specific electromagnetic radiation, which the author then intuitively transcribed into a sculptural language. The modelling tool was the source itself – the natural element or plant – that has been recorded.
