guided music-video-happening
The guided music-video-happening titled SILENT SONGS is a flow of gestures and actions connected to cyclic exercises. The performers are not actors, their acts are sequences of movements related to the basic principles of physical theatre. The exercises invite empathy through the physical pain that occurs, showing the helplessness of the person striving for the impossible, the tired person, and the tired body. The drama of repetitive movements is not only physical fatigue, but also the desperate impotence of being trapped in a cyclical process. Every movement remains a painful reach towards the unattainable in this endlessly bleak space. In this sense, the happening is a requiem for the permanent fall of man.
