Something dies, but in the meantime new life sprouts from the dead material. What means death to one living being means life to another. The artist wants to memorialize the dead living beings appearing in the pictures by taking them out of their usual environment and bringing them back to life, making them visible, during which the sufferings and illnesses of the creature become visible. In addition to the creative intention, the creator left room for the specifics of the material, during which chance plays a prominent role.
