According to the author, the object of the basket expresses several symbolic meanings: it is a carrier, suitable for storage; it can be a nest, which serves as a space for life; it is a reference to an ancient craft, almost forgotten today; it expresses a parallel with fishermen who provide their own food, just as the author weaves her own basket. Since the basket was made from twigs found in the forest, it is natural that it was returned to its original place. This created the possibility for a new use: as a nest or a refuge.
