ERIKA SZŐKE: DEAD RIVER

The project Dead River is a continuation of the author’s exploration of the theme of natural energy sources. It is a reflection on human indifference and inattention to the ecological disasters that are unfolding before our eyes. It seeks to symbolically draw attention to these pressing issues. As a natural source of energy, it uses the energy obtained from sourdough, which is made from a mixture of flour and water. After five days of feeding, the leaven can supply energy to the old slide projector, which can thus function continuously with proper care.
